WABA gives its membership a voice in legislative and government affairs activities at the state and national level by getting involved with important policy and government affairs issues. All WABA members are invited and encouraged to get involved on behalf of their individual business interests and for the protection and betterment of the industry as a whole. WABA advances legislation that positively positions the industry regarding fairness in public policy and parity within the industry. Acting alone, your voice may not be heard, but combining your interests and concerns with the outcry of hundreds of WABA members helps to get things done more effectively. Membership gives you that united power to support legislation and rules that are fair and to defeat legislation and rule revisions that are destructive to our industry. WABA is also one of the leading association liaisons with the Agricultural Retailers Association, The Fertilizer Institute, the American Feed Industry Association, the National Grain and Feed Association, and the American Seed Trade Association. Through these national affiliations, WABA uses its member influence to bring grassroots representation to the nation’s Capital.

Programs may also be offered through 1-2 hour webinars on topics such as implements of husbandry regulations or OSHA safety programs.
