Wisconsin's Premier Agribusiness Association

The Wisconsin Agri-Business Association, Inc. (WABA) is a nonprofit trade association.

The mission of the Wisconsin Agri-Business Association is to represent, provide programs and services, educate, train, manage regulatory and legislative affairs, and to be a strong unifying voice for the agribusiness industries of Wisconsin.

The association is more than 50 years old and has over 1,800 participants representing all confluences of the industry including:

  • Feed, Grain, Seed, and Farm Supply Industries
  • Fertilizer, Chemical, and Spray Equipment Manufacturers and Distributors
  • Cooperative and Independent Agronomic Retailers and Applicators
  • Crop Consultants, Food Processors and Wide-Ranging Service Providers including Soil Labs, Environmental Consultants/Engineers and Transporters
  • Practitioners Including Agronomy Managers, Certified Crop Advisors, Nutrient Management Planners, and Custom Applicators
  • Others Including University and Technical College Educators, Government Agency representatives and retired personnel from all sectors of the industry.
WABA is administered by a 12 member Board of Directors and staffed by an Executive Director, Safety Director and Office Personnel. Primary areas of association activity include:
  • Legislative and Government Affairs (Member and Committee Driven Activities)
  • Annual Conference and Tradeshow (The Midwest's Premier Agronomics Event)
  • Educational Programming (Managers, Crop Advisors, Custom Applicators)
  • Stewardship (Retail Environmental Stewardship Program, Pesticide Jug Recycling Program and Mini Bulk Recycling Program)
  • Networking and Recreation including three annual golf outings
  • Scholarships (9 Scholarships Provided Each Year to University and Technical System)
  • Business Marketing Opportunities (Sponsorship and Advertising)
  • Communications (Industry Magazine, Industry Website, Industry Alerts)
