Drug & Alcohol Testing

WABA's Drug & Alcohol Testing Consortium is a low cost program for Wisconsin firms that own or lease commercial motor vehicles. The WABA consortium provides administrative support for the state and federally mandated drug & alcohol testing programs for holders of a commercial drivers license. The services provided include:

Random Testing - WABA conducts a random selection of drivers quarterly using employee data that you provide to us.

Statistical Reports - We provide you with the required annual summary report.

Record Retention - A Medical Review Officer maintains all dated records and notifications of test results. We maintain all records pertaining to calibration of the Evidential Breath Testing Device.

Administrative Support - We provide administrative support for the federally mandated drug and alcohol testing program. All records are kept in a secured location and all results are confidential.

Training - We provide educational material for your use in educating your affected employees and supervisors in the program.

Sample Drug Policy - A sample drug policy is available for you to use as a guide in developing your company's drug testing policy. We advise that you consult with an attorney about the contents and implementation of your final policy.
