Safety Day will kick off with a powerful and impactful presentation from a survivor of a coal dust explosion. Grain dust and coal dust are virtually identical when it comes to their explosive properties. Hear what was going through his mind at the time at the time of the explosion, his hospital stays, the effect it had on his friends and family and his ongoing struggle with PTSD. This presentation is sure to reinforce the importance of following your housekeeping efforts to minimize dust accumulations and ensure all ignition sources are properly controlled and maintained.
